Dr. Darlene Wehr
Veterinarian
Dr. Darlene Wehr holds a degree in Associate of Equine Technology from Connors State College. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. In 2023, Dr. Darlene Wehr joined the amazing team at Marshall Animal Hospital.
Dr. Wehr’s earliest memory of wanting to become a veterinarian is from when she was in grade school. It was the time she rescued a little pup from a ditch and brought it home to her dad in the belief that he could fix everything, but he was unable to do so. The helplessness and hopelessness of wanting to save that puppy prompted Dr. Darlene Wehr’s desire to become a veterinarian.
In her spare time, Dr. Darlene Wehr enjoys spending her free time on her farm, working with her tractor “Mabel.” She also enjoys attending truck shows and will travel anywhere at a moment’s notice. What she adores most of all is spending time with her boys, John and Justin, and daughter, Sierra. Their family is incomplete without their horses, dogs, and cats.

Krissie
Veterinary Technician and Animal Care Attendant
If and when Krissie has time to spare, she enjoys hairstyling, fishing, and watching Sunday football. More importantly, she prioritizes spending time with her family which includes her furbabies. Krissie has opened her heart and her doors to three dogs. Hollywood, an American Bulldog pit mix who is a big baby, Taylor, a Catahoula pit mix who loves to hunt, and Phoebe, a Teacup Yorkie who is the dominant member of the pack.

Tabitha
Certified Veterinary Technician
Tabitha first earned her Veterinary Technician certification in 2006 from Texas Veterinary Medical Association and later acquired another one in 2016. In 2023, Tabitha joined Marshall Animal Hospital. She is most inspired to work hard when she is helping those without a voice. Being around and working with animals is also a huge plus!
Tabitha enjoys going to mud parks and the lake in her spare time. Her family is incomplete without her four pets. Elvira is a standard poodle who loves swimming and playing. Brock the Pitbull affectionately known as “the special one”, loves riding in the truck. Fishy the bearded dragon, who adores the outdoors, and Wednesday the cat, whose attributes are indescribable in words.

Vallie
Veterinary Technician
When she’s not busy working, Vallie sets aside quality time for her family and animals. She shares her home with a German Shepherd named Kimber who adores playing ball. She also has a three-legged little Pitbull mix called Nugget who lives for snuggles.

Amanda
Veterinary Technician
Amanda adores the outdoors! She enjoys working with her hands, fishing, hunting, exploring new areas, traveling, and spending time with her family when she’s not working. Amanda’s family is incomplete without CheviLynn, a four-and-a-half-year-old Pitbull, SpotBoy who is a seven-year-old rescued mixed breed pooch, a fifteen-year-old mixed breed named JaciLou, a six-year-old husky lab mix called CaliMae, and last but not least is MaciLynn who’s a three-year-old grand dog.

Amy
Receptionist
Amy has been working in the veterinary industry for more than two decades. She became part of the Marshall Animal Hospital family in 2017. She finds inspiration and joy in interacting with clients and getting to know them while giving their pets the love and care they need.
During her downtime, Amy can be found reading or hanging out at the pool. She also adores spending time with family and attending her children’s sporting events. Her house is not a home without her cat named Griffin who loves to play with balled-up dryer sheets.

Sabrina
Receptionist
Sabrina joined Marshall Animal Hospital in 2023. Sabrina was born in Okinawa, Japan, and until she was 18, she had dual citizenship. Sabrina loves helping animals, she always has. Since she was little, she would bring home abandoned kittens and dogs and want to keep them or at least get them healthy and find them good loving homes. That’s how she has gotten most of her childhood animals.
In her spare time, Sabrina is a mom to four amazing kids – a 9-year-old boy, 8-year-old daughter with Down syndrome, and identical twin boys who are about to be 5. They are her world, and everything she does, she does for them. So her time outside of work is spent making sure they always have a smile on their faces and are having fun while doing it.
She has a Siamese mix named Butterscotch, a black DSH named Shadow, a German shepherd named Ember, an English bull terrier named Thanos, and a boxer named Roycephus. The cats love to be loved on and follow her everywhere, but Shadow loves his few hours outside every day. All her dogs love taking walks in the woods and playing in the water and mud.
